Dr. Hassan Ayariga’s Message of Condolence to the family of the Former President.
I have received with sorrow the sad news of the demise of our father, my friend, our former President His Excellency Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings .
We the family of Dr. Hassan Ayariga and the entire leadership of the All People’s Congress send our condolences to the immediate family of Former President Rawlings, Her Excellency Nana Konadu and the children.
My campaign team and I were in Offinso in the Ashanti Region when my wife drew my attention of the sadden passing on of our former President.
When a child is born we celebrate.
When they turn 1 we celebrate their birthday.
Their first day in school we celebrate. When they turn eighteen we celebrate.
When they get married we celebrate.
But today we are not celebrating because a hero has fallen.
We join the millions of people in Ghana and Across the world today to mourn with the immediate family of our former President.
The former President has left a vacuum no one can ever replace.
Many have their challenges and experience with Former President Rawlings, I call on everyone to put it behind and let’s mourn our loss.
May his soul rest in perfect Peace.
